Returns and Refund Policies

Returns:

Encaustic Tile Designs does not accept returns on cement tile products.

All of our products are 100% Custom Handmade-to-Order and are considered “Special Order” and cannot be returned. Once your order is accepted and payment has been received, it cannot be cancelled or returned. We highly recommend ordering a set of samples prior to placing an order. This allows you to personally experience our tiles and to see and feel how the final product will work in your living environment.

 

Thoroughly inspect your order:

To resolve any product quality or color defect issues, you must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, No claims will be accepted after 30 days. It is recommended that all materials are inspected by you and your installer before installation, installed materials constitute acceptance “As Is”.

 

Color Disclaimer:

Variations in color and shade are part of the inherent qualities and beauty of encaustic cement tile, we do our very best to make sure the colors shown here are as close to the finished product as possible, Encaustic Tile Designs does not warranty against color and shade variations.

 

While every endeavor has been made to accurately reproduce our online images to best represent the actual product, variations in shade, color, and appearance are to be expected and are NOT grounds for return claims.

 

Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct. It is highly recommended that you order a sample or color chip kit before placing your order.

 

QUANTITIES:

Quantities are NOT provided by Encaustic Tile Designs agents/associates. Each client is responsible for providing the correct quantities to be ordered. The tile contractor usually specifies these quantities. Encaustic Tile Designs is not responsible tile quantities. To avoid over ordering or not ordering enough materials, properly measure the area that is to be tiled and add 15% overage for layout cuts and breakage. We also recommend that you add at least 2 to 3 extra cartons to your total for unexpected repairs and tear outs that may occur in the future, as our materials are handmade and add-on orders may not match.

 

Refunds:

All sales are final. Our products are custom handmade-to-order and considered special order and are non-refundable.
